Negotiating During Hard Times

This training event is our complete negotiations course for police bargaining units, with special focus on negotiating agreements during times of financial hardship. This training helps you maneuver through the opposition when the city is claiming poverty or when council is protesting raises due to the current state of the economy. We encourage attendance by anyone that will be negotiating a collective bargaining agreement over the following 12 months. This course teaches you everything you need to know to be successful in reaching an agreement, including what you need to know before going to the table, how to conduct yourself at the table, and what to do between and after negotiation sessions.
